In the past week, Miss Prothero's Books has been visited by two of Denver's better book dealers -- Lyman Rhoades and Linda Lebsack.
"I think I'm more of a reader than a book dealer," I admitted to Linda this morning.
Maybe this is why I stress out so much. Running the business leaves little time for reading.
My dog Stella, a two-year old labrasomething, has decided the opposite -- that I spend too much time reading. She's taken to destroying books I leave on the floor.
Or maybe she just wants to join the fun and this is her attempt at reading?
Miss Prothero's 2008 bookmark story series will feature Stella and her quest to understand the written word. Look for the first phrase of the series sometime soon!
