Life on Santa Fe Drive

Miss Prothero's was proud to host J. Marie Judy and Joanne Dulmaine last night. It was a twin pleasure. Marie and Joanne are sisters who collaborated on a book -- Life on Torrez Road, A Northern New Mexico Family History. Marie wrote the book. Joanne drew the illustrations. (Joanne also let us hang some of her paintings on the bookstore walls.) Both women are fierce, determined, exacting, and lovely. You ought to come by, check out the paintings, and pick up the book. You'll miss Joanne and Marie...which is half of the fun. Oh, well...You can't win them all.
